Big Commerce has really stepped up with their API connections allowing design partners and others to develop tons of integration apps. Tools such as shipping, affiliate programs, advertising, SEO, and many more. These apps can make a huge difference in processes that you use everyday to run your online store.

HCi not only deploys professional customizations and integrations, with the new RESTful API is allowing us even more control. HCi has already integrated some awesome functions within Big Commerce stores such as Make An Offer and Year, Make, Model, & Engine Size filters. Look for many more to come from HCi now that the RESTful API is in place and solid.

Our plans in 2013 is to deliver awesome apps for not only our client base but focus on apps that will make life easier for others to be successful online.

So clients or even potential clients always know that if it can be done in Big Commerce we can make it happen, even if you have been told no elsewhere. So keep ‘em coming….We love the challenges.

Ease Of Management

If there is anything we can say, we hear more than anything, is how easy it is to manage their business online.

HCi and Big Commerce have several things in common, first and foremost, we share the true enjoyment of helping customers succeed online. We enjoy working with clients no matter if they are new to eCommerce or existing stores we move to Big Commerce, either way we enjoy creating a partnerships that last long term.

Another thing we have in common is supporting clients. Big Commerce does an awesome job at supporting the platform, servers, source code and HCi as a design partner. We offer support for everything including design, customizations made, and even normal store setup, tutorials, and integrations. We are first line support for all things Big Commerce for all our clients. These are just a couple things that we enjoy sharing with Big Commerce and enjoy working with their support staff.

The Company & The Software

As any company growing at the pace Big Commerce is, there are gonna be bumps in the road, delays, problems, and general growing pains. It’s the way you handle it that counts. Mitch, Ed and staff do a wonderful job at mitigating many of these issues. We also love the fact that Big Commerce listens to their customers and design partners suggestions. This is a great way to get feedback on your software, simply ask the users. They do listen to the forums input on services everyone would enjoy seeing added. These items get added to the development plans if the need is high. That’s awesome!!

We should know, we have tried many different platforms before finally finding Big Commerce. We haven’t looked back since and never plan on it.

I just wanted to post this quick article and share our thoughts on the Big Commerce platform. Hopefully it helps a potential customer or a developer looking to switch, or create their online store.

We love the platform and would never recommend anything other than Big Commerce to our clients, we have had great success using and referring it. We can guarantee you this. You will not find a better platform to use yourself or design and develop in if your a designer!
